Trick or Treating...

Bryce learned tonight exactly what happens when you say TRICK OR TREAT to strangers w/candy bowls. At the first house he couldn't believe that he got candy for saying those 3 little words. After each house--for the first half hour or so--he would ask if he could do it "one more time". Next year should be even more fun because he will remember exactly what to do and anticipate getting all that candy. Our neighborhood is relatively small, but it is a more than sufficient candy load for a 3 year old.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!

Play date

Today I watched my friend Matt's nephew. His sister Chris lives down the street, and we watched Andrew for her for a few hours today. Bryce got a play date out of it and he was excited. Andrew will be 2 in December. Even though there is a 1 1/2+ year difference, they played well together. Their mutual love of trains and Lightning McQueen were great things!!

Leaves cont.

Here's a video of Bryce playing in the leaves. Remember, our digital camera doesn't have a microphone, so the video is silent. Still cute though!! Not sure why is got a little fuzzy though!!??!!??

Fall has arrived

We went to Hershey Park in the Dark last night and Bryce LOVED every minute of it. However, being the forgetful mom that I am, I forgot to take the camera. You'll have to take our word for it, but he enjoyed himself. He rode a lot of new rides because he grew. He rode the kiddie swings 6 times and the kiddie pirate ship 2 times. I didn't think he would like the pirate ship, but he begged to get back on.

We went outside and played for a while in the leaves because it is so nice--if a bit chilly. Below are those pictures. He had a ball!!

Nothing New

Not much changing around here. Just settling into the "fall" weather that is PA. Last week it was in the 80's; tomorrow it will be in the 50's with frost advisories at night.
We are thinking of taking Bryce to Hershey Park in the dark tomorrow since #1 I actually have off on a Friday night & #2 He has ACUTALLY been asking to go to Hershey Park. That is a first. He hasn't been there since the end of April, so I am not sure what reminded him of it now, but we'll go with it. We are hoping not to freeze our bums off tomorrow.
Pre-school this week held the annual picture day. When we get those pics, I will be sure to post them. I can only imagine what they will look like---Bryce is into the phase where he displays an odd smile to the camera--as you will note in the pic below.

Halloween Costume

Last week we went and Bryce picked out his Halloween costume. I thought he'd never decide, but then he saw this one and didn't want to look at any more. He is the Pit Crew chief for Lightning McQueen. He looks a little stunned in the one picture, but the others are great. He is so excited!!

Now I just have to keep him from wearing out the costume by the end of the month.
